SABREVOIS (ES 2-1-9)	Hybrid Wine	Red	Red Wine	Zone 3
A sister grape to St. Croix with better cold hardiness. Reported to be hardy to -35F. It also has very good disease resistance. If picked early, it can make a high acid, medium bodied complex red wine with good tannins not unlike Baco Noir but not as distinctly fruity. Varietal wine has been reported to age well and improve after 2 years in the bottle. A 50-50 blend with Frontenac derived wine has been recommended. Click Here for photo and more information...

Firm, oval, greenish yellow berries with skin that can be eaten. Has sweet, spicy flavor with berries that hang on the vine in excellent condition until the end of the season. Needs heavy pruning to be productive. Fairly susceptible to powdery mildew, requires a good spray program. Ripens early. Excellent early season market grape. SKUJINSH	Hybrid Wine	White	White Wine, Table	Zone 4
Originated in Moscow, Russia, aka Skujins 675 (Latvia) Moskovski Ustoitshivoi (Russia) Good disease resistant variety with a later bud break. Capable of withstanding late frosts with a good crop on secondary buds. Reported to have best wine results in areas with cool summers and harvested early at 18 brix. Great for areas like northern Minnesota with a short, cooler growing season.

Winter hardy red, medium-sized seedless grape with a strawberry-like flavor. Moderately vigorous plants with small to medium sized compact clusters. Quite disease resistant but should follow a regular spray program for downy mildew. Early season ripener from Elmer Swenson.
